It's easy to lose track of what the Centaurus girls accomplished last fall in light of what the Centaurus boys accomplished last fall. When the boys pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent state meet history, that has a tendency to grab everyone's attention. But that would be unfair to a girls team that also exceeded all expectations to finish fifth at the state meet.

Six of the seven Lady Warriors who accomplished that feat, including each of the top four, should be back again this year.

This just might be a team you want to keep close tabs on this fall.
