Host school Cheyenne Mountain is one obvious favorite for the 4A boys state title. But, you might also want to consider the next closest 4A school to Bear Creek Park when thinking of favorites.

Cheyenne Mountain and Coronado have been staging battles for west side supremacy in Colorado Springs for a several years running. Both teams are well coached. Both teams have more than their fare share of cross country tradition. Both teams are more or less permanent fixtures at the state meet.

We've already discussed the Cheyenne Mountain boys. Coronado's turn just came up.
