We have results reported from three of the four meets contested early this week, so let's plunge in and discuss what was turned up in the competition.

Denver North Viking Invitational

There's no place to shine like your home invitational, and Denver North did just that. The only problem is that Denver East shone just a little brighter. But East is 5A and North is 4A, so there's room for both of them.

Buoyed by the addition of a second Geberkidane (Ashi), Denver East had three runners in before Denver North got their first across the finish line. That gave East enough advantage to hold on for the win even though North crossed their fifth ahead of East's. The Geberkidanes went 15:54 and 16:23 on this course. Third place was 16:47. Ouch.
