US #9 ranked Katie Rainsberger of Air Academy (CO) improved upon her 18:09 win from the 2013 St. Vrain Invitational on Saturday with a 18:01 victory. The boys race had much more drama and suspense at race's end between Paul Roberts of Lyons and Zachary Alhamra of Pine Creek. Two of the best boys in the state of Colorado fought with each other for first place until the very end with Roberts having the superior speed and kick as a 4:20 miler to run a very swift PR time of 15:17.
