Monarch freshmen Isaac Green finished 2nd in the boys 800 with a time of 1:55 at the St. Vrain Invitational.

Brandon Singleton of Cherokee Trail won the 400, 200, and anchored his 4x100 to victory at the St. Vrain Invite with his 400 time of 47.54 being a new meet and stadium record.
US #9 ranked Katie Rainsberger of Air Academy (CO) improved upon her 18:09 win from the 2013 St. Vrain Invitational on Saturday with a 18:01 victory. The boys race had much more drama and suspense at race's end between Paul Roberts of Lyons and Zachary Alhamra of Pine Creek. Two of the best boys in the state of Colorado fought with each other for first place until the very end with Roberts having the superior speed and kick as a 4:20 miler to run a very swift PR time of 15:17.
