It probably doesn't matter if 2A cross country was score three, score four, or score five. Figure on scoring as many runners as you like, and you still end up with the same team entering the season with the upper hand. 

Lyons returns three sub-17 guys, four sub-18 guys and six sub-20 guys from last year's team. They go by Paul Roberts, Marcel Such, Joel Such, Matt Dillon, Brian Flynn, and Heath Fesenmeyer. Although we don't score all six in 2A meets, the extra scoring punch comes in handy when Lyons goes to 4A and 5A meets--which they do almost every weekend until regionals and state. Lyons has no need to fear large-school competition; they hold their own quite nicely.

But all of that made life a little difficult for the rest of 2A late last fall. And, if there's major change on the horizon for this fall, we haven't see...
