Throughout the short history of 2A cross country, this one has been more or less the San Luis Valley region, but the over-the-Sangre-de-Cristos gang looks to be in a strong position for this fall.
Boys
1. Rocky Ford - The Meloneers are a traditional powerhouse in cross country. While this team will likely not be as dominant as Rocky Ford teams of four or five years ago, they figure to be the team to beat within the region. Rhett Hinkle, Adan Munoz, Eric Rocha, and Mario George give Rocky Ford a very strong four-deep. And that's deeper than anyone else in the region goes--at least at the level of these four.
