This is the second monster region of the four 2A regions. The other two regions are much smaller than the first two we are previewing. There are several strong and well-established programs within this region, and this despite the fact that the region lost two of its most recognizable returning male athletes. Of particular note about this region is the fact that Heritage Christian Academy was placed into this region last year even though their geographic location would suggest they belong in 2A Region 1. It's not an all bad thing, though, as it does help a little to balance the regions--or at least these two regions.
