The South Central League may be due for a name change in 2014. A league that formerly included schools like Alamosa, Canon City, and, I believe, La Junta and Trinidad, is now down to six Pueblo schools. Two of those schools are outside of the city limits proper (unless Pueblo West has been annexed and I missed that), but all schools are close-in to Pueblo. So, maybe we start calling this one the Steel City League.

In any case, it looks to be the exclusive property--at least where the boys are concerned--of Matt Sherman's Pueblo West crew. The Cyclones will take one ding to graduation in May, but most of the team is back. 2014 will, however, be the year they need to get it done. Graduation will hit in a more serious sort of way in May of 2015.
