It put off the publication of this event preview until how, hoping to extract all possible information from the indoor season before committing anything to the lead article. Aside from a smattering of high school entries in open meets over the next couple of weekends and then the elite going to NBNI, the indoor season has pretty much told us its tale. It's time to start pondering what we'll see this spring.

One thing I've learned from the indoor season is that Ally Watt's first 10 meters are better than they were last year. This looks more like her event than it did two months ago, but it won't come for free. The two most obvious contenders would be Shayna Yon and Chyna Ries (the latter under the assumption that she runs in the CHSAA-sanctioned season this spring.
