Undoubtedly, someone in 5A Region 4 boys has wondered what they did wrong to be treated last in the series of regional previews. Well, nothing actually. The truth of the matter is that it just worked out this way, without design or intention on my part. But, this much we can say--last is certainly not least.
The region is spearheaded by a very good Fort Collins team that got a little bit better over the summer. Incoming freshman Joshua Krafsur enters Fort Collins High School this fall, and so strong was the gravitational pull of his enrollment that he drew his older brother Joseph in with him. Joseph Krafsur you will recognize as the erstwhile #2 returning runner for Fossil Ridge and a legitimate 16-something type as a sophomore.
