To help break up the size of the week-in-review articles, I'm experimenting with splitting out the reviews by large and small schools. This should also help to keep me from sweeping the small schools under the rug of the larger school performances. In any case, there's reason to be hopeful here...

Basalt Longhorn Cross Country Invitational

This is indeed small school cross country, although the first two boys places went to 4A runners before local favorite Zach Walsh jumped into third. In somewhat of a surprise, Coal Ridge finished as the top 2A/3A boys team. And, it looks like you'd better get used to that from the Titans.
