We did some early dissection of the Liberty Bell results, and Matt Norton added a piece unpacking some of the meaning of the D2 results from Liberty Bell. I'll do my part now with Divisions 1, 3, and 4. And then we'll put Liberty Bell to bed for another year.
It's beyond question Liberty Bell was fast this year. It looks like last year was made up for--and then quite a bit more.
Monarch is the big winner out of Division 1. The Coyotes were easily top dog in the girls race, and slipped away with Colorado honors for the boys as well. And that boys title came despite a couple of mishaps along the 5000 meters of the Liberty Bell course that could easily have turned a lesser team aside. The boys team at Monarch has been getting steadily better the last couple of years. Still, it is the girls team that...
