We are far from done talking about prospects for Colorado high school cross country in the fall of 2015, but this one concludes the next-year's-road series. We'll move next to rising teams for next year.

The battle for 2A girls supremacy was waged as a multi-directional see-saw affair through the entire season. Each of Hotchkiss, Heritage Christian Academy, Lyons, and Telluride took their turns at giving the appearance of being the top team. In the end, however, it was Lyons that walked away with the big trophy.

And, Lyons has reason to be optimistic about the year ahead. Jenna Anderson leaves the fold, but CeAnn Udovich and Sierra Tucker return. Between them, they owned places 2 and 5 at this year's state meet. Nobody in 2A brings back a better pair of top two places than Lyons.
