Central Grand Junction coach Ted Leblow was hoping for drier conditions this year so the eleven teams attending the Central Warrior Invite could enjoy the full course. Last year, rain pummeled the Grand Valley in the hours prior to the race start causing the course to be shortened for safety reasons.

Course conditions couldn't have been much better than this Saturday morn as the harriers were met with fast, hardened straightaways, arroyo bridge crossings, a steep hill climb, a horse jump and some hay bales at the finish for good measure--all to create a challenging, fun and unique way to kick-off the 2015 Cross Country season.
