A lot will be on the line Saturday morning on the grass at Washington Park. It could be the best set of high school showdowns we've seen in the state since, well, last year's state meet!
Top-tier racing abounds. A lot of folks have been hoping for a serious high school race on the grass of Washington Park for some time. It finally comes to fruition on Saturday morning. A course with multiple loops and no hard surface. Only pure cross country here for one glorious Saturday morning to usher in October.
I'll break the preview down by gender, and we'll start with the race the starts the whole meet--the high school girls.
