With one week before state, Western Slope track teams had were three choices in the final week before state: the Tiger Invitational in Grand Junction, the Cardinal Invitational at Grand Valley High School or head over the mountains for a Front-Range competition. Twenty-five teams chose the two-day Tiger and last-chance improvements were abound.
