Epic Battles At The Let's Get REAL Classic

Grant Bradley ran a state-leading 4:32 in the mile.

There were plenty of highlights coming out of the meet, particularly in the mid-distance events, which saw a slew of cross country stars spike up for the first time of the 2020 track season.

The boy's 600 was nearly as climactic as the girls, as Abdi Abade and Thomas Fry took the race down to the final strides. Abdi took the W in a state-leading 1:25.83, which was just ahead of Fry's 1:26.44.

A big highlight of the meet has got to be Yasin Sado

The senior dropped a solo 2:28.10 1,000, which currently leads the nation by half a second. Sado came out swinging - running 57 in the opening 400, and cruising through the 800 in 1:57.

Clearly, he's in shape.

Likewise, Grant Bradley made little competition of the boy's mile. The Overland senior ran off and away to a state-leading 4:32.

Likewise (x2) Ryan Montera duplicated the feat in the 3,000, running 9:34.

In the 60 Sterling Brassfield and Brandon Belgrave took the race down the inches, as the two were separated by a hundredth of a second.

Brassfield took the victory in 7.06 over Belgrave's 7.0.7

In the 60H Gregory Anderson dropped a state-leading 8.25 over PJ Robinson, who was over a tenth of a second back in 8.39.
