Mia Prok leads 4A state champions Niwot to the RunningLane National Cross Country Championships.
Some of Colorado's best are headed south to Huntsville, Alabama for the RunningLane National Cross Country Championships, set for Saturday, November 21.
For the boys, Cherry Creek's Parker Wolfe is Colorado's top entry. The 5A state champion is currently ranked No. 1 in the MileSplit50. Some of the best in 4A will toe the line as well - 4A state champion Zane Bergen is registered to compete, along with Grahm Tuohy-Gaydos, who is the only other Colorado runner to crack 15 in the state this season. Other notable entries include 4A State runner-up Jackson Shorten, Erik Le Roux, Harrison Witt, and Lukas Haug - they've all broken 15:30 at some point this season.
For the boy's teams, Niwot headlines for Colorado. The 4A state champions are currently ranked No. 3 in the MileSplit50 Team Rankings. 5A state champions Mountain Vista are also on the entry list.
For the girls 4A state runner-up Mia Prok is the top seed coming out of Colorado. She'll be joined by teammate Lucca Fulkerson, Shayda Zarrin, Hope Stark, Madison Shults, and Kiera Shorten among notable entries - they've all broken 18:30 at some point this season.
For the girl's teams, Niwot leads the way. The 4A state champions are currently ranked No. 10 nationally. Mountain Vista, who finished fourth in 5A this season, are also registered to compete.
