The boys 4A team race looks tight!
The defending state champions - Niwot - will have their hands full. Zane Bergen returns as their big scorer - he won three individual titles last year, and one with the 4x800. Niwot will look to tally most of their points on the track, with Bergen, Nicholas Stade and Ben Classen.
Hot on their heels is Cheyenne Mountain.
They'll look to score big in the distance events with Erik Le Roux and Knox Exton, along with high jumper Antoni Smith.
And while Niwot and Cheyenne Mountain return squads that stretch across several events, Mountain View looks like a two-man show who can hand with the best.
Multi-event athlete and sprinter-hurdler Bennett Feldenkirchen will have his pick of events, though he'll obviously be confined to just four. He'll be joined by Jackson Shorten, who'll pick up points in the distance events.
For the girls, it's all Niwot.
They return state champions Kimora Northrup, and Madison Shults. Like Feldenkirch...
