Colorado, meet Claire Guiberson!
The Rock Canyon freshman came out swinging in her first high school cross country 5k race. Guiberson won the Freshmen/Sophomore race at the Arapahoe Warrior XC Invitational in 19:39.
The time currently ranks her No. 4 in the Freshmen Class, and would've placed her 13th in the varsity race.
Several weeks ago Guiberson finished fourth at the Vista Nation XC 2-Mile Invitational, running 12:09.

Emily Cohen - The Cherry Creek freshman finished fifth in the girls varsity race at the Arapahoe Warrior XC Invitational in 19:00. A week earlier she ran 18:17 at the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invitational.
Jordan Banta - The Air Academy freshman recently finished fifth in the girls seeded race at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede (Pre-State), running 18:44 - that's two-seconds behind her 18:42 personal best from the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invitational.
Ellie Cartwright - The Fairview freshmen recently finished 11th in the girls seeded race at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede (Pre-State), running 19:51.
Dawit James - The Strasburg freshman recently finished fourth in the boys 2A/3A race at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede (Pre-State), running 17:36. A week earlier he ran 16:45 at the Washington Park Invitational.
