Colorado Future Stars: Sky St Louis

In this week's edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll be taking a look at recent standout freshmen performances. 

Colorado, meet Sky St Louis!

The Chaparral freshman recently ran 17:33 at the Liberty Bell Cross Country Invitational to finish 13th.

Prior to that she clocked 19:04 at the Arapahoe Warrior XC Invitational, where she finished fourth, and an 11:52 2-mile clocking at the Vista Nation XC 2-Mile Invitational, where she finished ninth.

As an eighth-grader St. Louis dropped some insanely impressive times as well, clocking 4:56 in the 1,600 at the Nike Outdoor Nationals (lower elevations,) and 2:09.83 in the 800 (also at Nike Outdoor Nationals.)

Last fall she claimed gold at the Colorado Middle School State Cross Country Championship, running 12:45 for 3,500-meters, and she went on to win the Middle School XC Nationals, running 14:09 for 4,000-meters.
