As dominant as Cunningham was in the sprints, so was Anna Prok in the girl's 800.
Prok backed up last week's 5:01 1,600 by storming away with an indoor CO No. 1 2:15.81 in the 800. The Niwot freshman took the lead at the 100-meter marker and never looked back.
Doubling up in distance and sticking with the theme of "backing up last week's performance" -- the girl's mile lived up to the hype, as Addison Ritzenhein showed that she's got some wheels.
Nadhia Campos set an honest pace, though Ritzenhein had a furious kick over the final lap to win the mile in 5:06.78.
While the race up front was exciting on its own, it's of additional note to take another look at who finished second - seventh-grader Elin Latta, who kicked late to run 5:08.
A week ago Latta and Campos had the roles reversed with Campos edging out Latta. Saturday it was Latta two-seconds ahead of Campos' 5:10.
Meanwhile Reese Tucker destroyed the 3,200 meet record, soloing a 11:27 to win the event by just under half-a-minute. The performance was an indoor CO No. 1, and a sizable personal best for the Chatfield junior.
Moving along the field events, Kaeli Powe and Kylee Kielian both leapt to 17-4 in the long jump, while Ella Pears won the triple jump with a leap of 37-3.
Meet records fell in both the high jump, and the pole vault, with Dallis Robinson cleared 5-5 to win the high jump, and Anna Willis clearing 12-8 in the pole vault.
