Colorado Future Stars: Meet Ben Lee

In this week's edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll take a look at recent performances by freshmen!

Colorado, meet Ben Lee!

The ThunderRidge freshman came out of the gates swinging on his high school track career - last week he finished third in the 800 at the Mickey Dunn Invitational in 1:57.46.

The performance currently ranks him No. 4 in 5A, and leads the freshmen class by three-seconds.

Last fall he finished 88th at the 5A Colorado State Cross Country Championships, and ran a Colorado personal best of 16:11 at the Pat Amato Classic

As an eighth-grader he ran 55.71 in the 400, and 4:54 in the 1,600.

His 1:57 from last week indicates that he'll likely be dropping some massive PRs in the coming weeks...
