A year ago Myla Wilkes didn't make it out of the 200 prelims at the 2022 Colorado State Track and Field Championships.
She ran 26.15 that day, and finished 11th.

24.18 - State Champion.

A lot can change in a year, and for Wilkes, it was a good change.
The Erie junior was on fire heading into the 2023 Colorado State Track and Field Championships, and she took all that momentum and unleashed a state-leading, state title performance.
Wilkes ran 24.18 in the prelims, then came back to duplicate the performance in the final.
