WATCH: Karamoko Sacko Runs US No. 5 of 7.82 In The 60H

It's official.

Karamoko Sacko is on fire.

The Northfield senior sliced a few hundredths-of-a-second off his 60 hurdle personal best -- which is not easy to do -- at the Air Force High School Indoor Open

Let's dive into his progression this indoor season, because it's impressive...

Sacko opened up with an 8.39.

Then quickly sliced that down to 8.05. Then 8.02 in the semis at the Carl Lewis Invitational. Then down to 7.94 in the finals.

At the time his 7.94 put him within the top-15 in the country.

But, he clearly had more in the tank.

At Air Force he cut even more time off, cruising to a 7.88 in the prelims, then went on to torch a 7.82 in the finals.

The time moved him all the way up to a US No. 5. in the event.

A year ago he finished second in the 110H outdoors at the Colorado State Track and Field Championships in a PR of 14.26, then went on to finish third in the event at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor

What raises the eyebrow a bit is the fact that during the 2023 indoor season he never ran faster than 8.31 in the 60H.

Clearly, he's way, way ahead of that already, meaning we've got an exciting outdoor season ahead of us...
