For the 4A division, the distance events are always very exciting. Though Niwot High School is always very deep, especially on the girls' side, Air Academy High School has a few names that could challenge, including in the 1600m. Currently Addison Ritzenhein has the top spot in the 1600m with a time of 4:49. She is followed on the list by her teammate Anna Prok, who ran 4:52 this season. Who could be a sleeper pick to take the 1600m title is Chamorra Cooper, who also just ran 4:52. Her time was ran at altitude, making her PR not that far off from the other two ahead of her on the list, who ran their times at sea level.
In the 3200m, Ritzenhein has the fastest time on Colorado soil this season, running 10:26. She is only a few seconds behind Tessa Walters of Air Academy and Chamorra Cooper, who have ran 10:21 and 10:22, but at sea level. Ritzenhein's strength is the longer events, so she will be the favorite for the 3200m.
