In this week's edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll be taking a look at recent standout freshmen performances.
And in this week's edition, we'll be highlighting two runners for the first time.
Colorado, meet Evan Dann and Wyatt Dann!
The Castle View duo might just be a few weeks into their high school career, but they've already come off the starting line on fire.
Most recently, Evan and Wyatt finished seventh and eighth at the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invitational, running 15:38, and 15:39.
For Evan (pictured above), that was his second-consecutive top-10 finish - he finished seventh at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede (Pre-State), running 15:50.
As an eighth-grader, Evan ran stellar personal bests of 4:23 in the mile at the Brooks PR Invitational (lower elevations,) and 9:20 in the 3,200 at the RunningLane Track Championships (lower elevations.)
