The relays are slowly starting to take shape as coaches are figuring out their orders and working on handoffs. Here are the rankings so far for the top 25 boys teams.

Mountain Vista High School got extremely close to breaking 41 seconds at the Niwot Invitational, which bodes well for this team considering the weather was not ideal, and it is still early in the season. 

Ponderosa High School just snuck under 1:27, running 1:26.88 in the 4x200m relay, making their lead almost a second ahead of the rest of Colorado. There is always time to continue to hone in on handoffs and maximizing exchange zones, so expect these marks to drop even though they are already pretty strong. 

For the 4x400m relay, Roosevelt High School has a pretty significant lead on the rest of the field, running 3:24.95. That is almost three seconds ahead of the next team.
