Throughout the years, Gabe Gatti of Peyton High School has continued to challenge himself and push himself. Approaching his senior year, Gatti will go for a state title that he has yet to earn on the cross country course. He does have a 3200m state title from the track under his belt, and a handful of top 5 finishes from the track through the past couple of seasons, but Gatti will go into this year looking for that state title on the course. Last season, Gatti started strong with a time of 17:20 on the state course at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede and ended his season running 17:05 placing 11th overall at the state meet. In between the two meets, he ran an impressive time of 16:05, but overall, the start and middle of his season did not quite line up with how he ended his season. He will be looking out for that elusive title.
