With such competitive fields at the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invitational, it is no surprise that some of the improvements are as good as they are. However, the biggest improvement on this course was a little surprising, considering how big the jump was. Mia Silva of Eaglecrest High School, who ran an astounding 14:20 faster this year than what she did last year took the top spot. She went from running over 35 minutes from last year, to almost breaking 21 minutes this year.
Other notable improvements go to Layna Wiesner of Douglas County who improved by over five minutes for the course and Adeline Mascarenes of Air Academy High School, who dropped her time by 4:47. These two were our 2nd and 3rd most improved for the meet.
Take a look at the rest of the improvements from the Cherry Creek Invitational!
