Sophia Chapton of Northfield High School tops the list, dropping her time by over four minutes at the Liberty Bell Invitational. She ran 23:13 last season and almost broke 19 minutes this year, running a time of 19:03!

With Chapton at the top, the rest of this list is just as impressive with sophomores Annie Fowler and McKenna Alackness next on the list. Fowler from Timnath High School dropped her time by almost four minutes, running 18:11. For Alackness of Heritage High School, she has already shown immense improvement in each race she has toed the line for. She dropped her time by almost three minutes for this race! The improvements shown by both of these 10th graders have been a big part on why these two teams are frontrunners in their respective classes. 

Finally, one other huge improvement goes to Jetta Betts of ThunderRidge High School, who broke the 18 minute barrier on the Liberty Bell course. She ran 20:11 last year, but made a huge jump in fitness to run 17:44 this se...
