Sophia Africa of Boulder High School made an impressive improvement herself. Though she is not as high on our list, she still improved her time by over a minute. She ran 19:47 last year, but this year she finished with a time of 18:30. She placed a very impressive 5th place overall at the Pat Patten Invitational.

Claiming first place for the most improved at the Pat Patten Invitational is Giovanna Capizzi of Rock Canyon High School with an astounding improvement of almost 11 minutes! She went from 36:03 last year to 25:04 this season.
2nd place goes to Rowan Stupplebeen-Russell of Monarch High School who improved by over five minutes dropping from 30:10 to 24:56. 
For 3rd place, Brianna Heron also of Monarch High School improved her time by over four minutes, running 22:36 this season compared to 26:54 from last season.
