Corven Peterson, Niwot High School: Peterson ran 51.05 in the 400 meters at the Centaurus Twilight meet on April 16, improving from his previous best of 53.86 set in March! The sophomore ranks #85 in Colorado and #16 among sophomores statewide, placing 7th of 95 competitors.
Aliya Almquist, Elizabeth High School: Almquist clocked 12.96 in the 100 meters at the RunningLane Kansas City Relays on April 17, dropping from her previous PR of 13.53! The senior ranks #145 in Colorado and #49 among seniors, finishing 15th of 32 competitors.
Logan Welch, Holy Family High School: Welch threw 160-0 in the discus at the Randall Hess Roughrider Invitational on April 18, improving from 145-9 set earlier in April! The junior ranks #10 in Colorado and #6 among juniors, placing 3rd of 52 competitors. Welch also set a PR in the shot put, improving from 38-6 to 40-0.
Hayden Cochran, Fleming High School: Cochran cleared 5-3 in the high jump at the Bronco Stampede on April 18, bettering her previous best of 5-0 from April! The freshman is tied at #15 in Colorado and #2 among freshmen, winning the event among 21 competitors. The mark set a Fleming High School record as well!
Blake Curtis, Wellington Middle-High School: Curtis ran 15.78 in the 110-meter hurdles at the Centaurus Twilight meet on April 16, improving from 16.52! The sophomore ranks #53 in Colorado and #5 among sophomores, placing 6th of 55 competitors. Curtis set a school record and also PR'd in the 300 hurdles, running 42.53 compared to his previous best of 43.18.
John Howell V, Chaparral High School: Howell clocked 22.32 in the 200 meters at the Cherry Creek Invitational on April 18, dropping from 23.11! The sophomore ranks #52 in Colorado and #9 among sophomores, finishing 5th of 62 competitors.
Conan Williams, Columbine High School: Williams threw 49-6 in the shot put at the 5A Jeffco League Relays Qualifier on April 16, improving from 45-7! The senior ranks #17 in Colorado and #10 among seniors, winning among 29 competitors. Williams also PR'd in the 100 meters, running 12.16 compared to his previous best of 12.53.
