There were numerous weekday rankings meets this past week. That would be one sure indicator that either spring break or prom is upon us. In this case, it's the former. Apparently, we're saving up the springtime snows for prom this year.
But, let's cut to the chase. People are leaving on spring break even as this article is being written and there was a tractor trailer load of big performances to take note of for this week.
Not a rankings meet, but if you dig into the meet results you can find a gem or two. That's especially true because the Jeffco Track folks report field event relay results as individual results. It's there you'll learn that Valor's Haley Showalter heaved the discus 126-6 (but it won't tell you she threw it even better on Saturday).
