It wasn't that long ago that Crested Butte and Telluride were waging a titanic struggle for supremacy in 2A boys. More years than not, these two schools also have very competitive girls teams. So, it's natural that these two schools tend to draw most of the attention in 2A Region 4, but they will have more than each other to worry about this fall.
Boys
1. Crested Butte Community - Right now, the Titans are the team with the proven guys to work with. When they bring Forrest Smith, Danny D'Aquila, Kyle Boyle, and Aiden Truettner to the line, there is nobody else in the region who can answer with four sub-18 types. Boyle and Smith also had very nice track seasons in the spring. So, Crested Butte is coming to battle fully armed, and the intimidation factor sets up its tent in their camp...
