There are some great long jumpers in the Class of 2023!

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait another year before we get to see them outdoors...

As eighth graders, Megan Kelleghan and Hannah Turpin already went beyond the 16-foot marker. Kelleghan - who already went 12-0 in the pole vault this indoor season - led the class last year with a 16-5.25 leap. The mark was just under a inch ahead of Turpin's 16-4.75.

The two cleared the class by a foot.

In total seven went beyond 15 feet as middle schoolers. In addition to Kelleghan and Turpin, Justice EphrimEllie PoliLeia EllenbergerKacie McCollum, and Marely Del Campo cleared 15 feet.
