Rocking And Rolling At The St. Vrain Cross Country Invite

While nearly every individual race had some sort of battle at least halfway through the hilly course, Andie Rasmussen made sure that the storyline would unfold a little differently in the girl's 2A/3A race.

The Eaton sophomore wasted no time stating her intentions - she took off early and never looked back.

The effort earned her her second consecutive win of the season, and her third overall. Rasmussen finished clear of all challengers, running 20:04.

Lyons senior Quin Gregg took the runner-up spot her, using the final half of the course to make her move. She finished 20-seconds behind Rasmussen in 20:24.

Meanwhile Amelia Harkey and Eliana Caucutt made a battle of it for third, with Harkey taking the honors in 20:39, which was just ahead of Caucutt's 20:41.

Liberty Common made no contest of the team race (which scored four.) They tallied a stellar 29 points, going 3-6-9-11. Prospect Ridge Academy took second with 72, while St. Mary's Academy finished third with 91.
