Like 3A, we'll see a ton of returners from the 2021 2A Colorado State Championships...

Defending state champ Tyler Ball will look for a two-peat. The Lyons junior won this year's race by running away with a 16:16 clocking. 

Heritage Christian's Jack Nauman is the No. 2 returner. He finished fourth this year in 16:44, while Jay WoodJace Peters, and Matthew Campos are close 3-4-5. This year they went 6-7-8. 

A staggering six from this year's top-10 finishers return in 2022. 

On the topic of returners...

Lyons returns five from this year's squad, and are the top squad. St. Mary's a close No. 2 with four returning from this year's team, while Golden View Classical Academy returns everyone.

Defending state champ Nadhia Campos tops the girl's returners. The Vanguard freshman dominated this year's race, running 18:47. She's clear favorite for next year's race.
