It's finally starting to feel like we've got an indoor season rolling, because the past week was chalk-filled with stellar performances.

Let's get into it, here are the highlights of the highlights...

Riley Stewart flew across the country to the Big Apple for the 2022 Millrose Games. The Cherry Creek senior came oh-so-close to claiming the girl's mile. Stewart took second in a highly tactical race, running 4:47.22 for a US No. 2. 

Snow and ice didn't slow or stop any action at the Colorado Mines HS Indoor Series #5 Thursday night.

Chrisly Kelly-Cannon continued to impress in the long jump. The Jefferson Academy junior has been on fire this indoor season. Last month he went 24-0 for a US No. 6. In his three attempts in the event this indoor season he's gone beyond 22-feet all three times. He won the event Thursday night with a 22-9.5 leap.

Conner Ewens took the high jump with a 6-2 clearance, which was just over Ryan Pollyea's 6-0. Meanwhile, Lucas Couron won the pole vault with a 14-8 clearance.

The girl's pole vault proved to yet again be a competitive affair. Kourtney Rathke cleared 12-2 and the field to win the event, while Megan Kelleghan, Katie Wrona, Olivia Kosanovich, and Victoria Spitzley cleared 11-2.

All of these girls would meet again several days later at the USATF-Colorado All Comers Invitational #3 in Colorado Springs. 

In the high jump Sierra Haberman put up a Colorado No. 1 of 5-4 to win the event. 

Meanwhile, the competition was highly competitive at the USATF-Colorado All Comers Invitational #3, proving that it looks like we're heating up into the indoor season... 

Julia Pattison ran away with a CO No. 1 in the 200, running 24.81 for a new personal best. 

And on the topic of state-leading marks, cue Fabiola Belibi. The Regis Jesuit senior torched a new CO No. 1 in the 60 Hurdles, running 8.73 - that's a US No. 16. 

Belibi and Agur Dwol also battled in the long jump. 

Dwol won the event with a 19-7.5 leap, while Belibi was second with an 18-1. Dwol also won the triple jump with a 41-5.75 leap.

Like Thursday night, the girl's pole vault was quantity and quality. Only this time 3A state champ Anna Willis joined the crew of Rathke, Kelleghan, and Kosanovich, Wrona, and Spitzley. 

Willis, Rathke, and Kelleghan each cleared 12-6.5. 

Conner Ewens is clearly taking advantage of the indoor season. The Pine Creek junior has been dropping PRs left and right, including a CO No. 1 of 51.53 in the 400. 

Likewise, PJ Robinson dipped under eight-seconds for the first time in the 60H, running 7.97 for a CO No. 1, and a US No. 13.
