A Whirlwind Of A Meet At The Coyote/Panther Invite

Before the wind swirled into a classic Colorado Spring, Monarch's Keiran Singh raged down the final straight to win the 100 just off his personal best, running 11.44.

By the time the 200 rolled around, that wasn't quite the case. Grayson Arnold  (picture above) and the field battled headwinds over -3.7. Despite the additional challenger, the Holy Family senior ran a 22.77 to win the event by over a second.

John McGill hasn't raced track since his freshmen year, though that didn't stop the Centaurus senior from running a PR of 52.77 to win the 400.

Meanwhile the 800 was all Jacoby Ennis. The Centaurus sophomore telescoped away with a 2:05.88 victory.

As dominate as Ennis was in the 800, the 1,600 was a battle that raged into the final lap.

Gavin Geer took up the early pacing duties with Max Heins hot on his heels. The two had separated from the pack with 400 meters to go. Heins pounced as they rounded the curve and ran away with the victory, running 4:37. Geer held on for second in 4:42.

Doubling up in distance, Kyle Berg soloed his way to victory in the 3,200, running 10:11.

In the 100 Hurdles Josh Dunn took a slim win over Cole DiGiacomo, running 16.26 to DiGiacomo's 16.37, while Gabe Estebanes ran away with the 300H in 44.49.

Jackson Doran dominated the discus, tossing 115-0, while Landen Davidson won the shot put in 36-7 over Hank Szymanski's 36-5.

Moving over to the horizontal jumps...

In the long jump Levi Hoenninger leapt to a stellar 21-7.5 PR to win the event, while Thomas Rathman leapt to 39-9 to win the triple jump.

Meanwhile five cleared 5-4 in the high jump - Joseph Bermudez, Harry PlattenRishi BhargavaJaxon Grable, and Tyler Stewart.

In the pole vault Flynn Meier cleared 11-6, and the field, to win the event.
