Kourtney Rathke Soars To PV Meet Record At Air Force HS Open

Symone Adams came. Saw. And Conquered.

The Cherokee Trail senior swept the 60 and 200, torching a 7.61 personal best in the 60.

On both occasions Gabriella Cunningham was a stride back in second, though Cunningham didn't leave with a W on the day - she won the 60 hurdles in 8.65.

Leading Colorado in the 400 was Gabrielle Shepston, who ran a state-leading 58.75. That's an indoor PR for the Legacy sophomore, and just off her outdoor PR.

The 800 was a strategic affair, with Jaycee Williams perfecting the art of kicking last. The Berthoud junior won the event in a state-leading 2:19.95. Tessa Walter and Emily Lamontagne were a second back in 2:20.

Sticking with the theme of state-leading marks, Eva Bellot and Dallis Robinson both cleared 5-5.5 in the high jump - that was a PR for both ladies.

In the triple jump Kaeli Powe and Joy Nnantah both landed at 37-8, which tied for a CO No. 2 in the event.
