Colorado, meet Reese Morgan!
The Fossil Ridge freshman recently won the third heat (and finished sixth overall) at The Pomona Invitational in a personal best of 2:21.11.
That's a three-second PR, No. 2 in the freshmen class, and No. 14 in 5A.
She's run the 800 four times this season, with her first three outings between 2:24 and 2:26. Additionally she's raced the 1,600 once - a 5:30 clocking.
As an eighth-grader she swept the distance events at the NCAC Middle School Championship, winning the 800 in 2:22, the 1,600 in 5:33, and the 3,200 in 11:49.

Sofia Titarenko - Lakewood - won the 100 at the Jeffco Freshman Dennis Shepherd in a class-leading 12.76.
Terra Brubaker - Longmont - finished fourth in the 300H at the Boulder County Track Championships in a class-leading 48.60.
Rocco Culpepper - Niwot - finished second in the 1,600 at the Boulder County Track Championships in a class-leading 4:24.51.
