Colorado Future Stars: Meet Delaney Reuter

In the first edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll be taking a look at recent freshmen performances!

Meet: Delaney Reuter

The Eaton freshman came out swinging on her high school career.

Reuter finished third at the Rocky Mountain Lobo Invitational in 19:13.

Not only does that rank her No. 6 on the course in meet history, but for additional historical comparisons, consider that Ella Johns - who ran on this course throughout the entirety of her high school career, ran 19:19 here as a freshman.

Editor's Note: Johns went on to place in the top-10 of every state cross country championship she competed in

Reuter is in good company...

Looking back in time, it's clear that Reuter will be someone to keep an eye on - as an eighth-grader she ran personal bests of 5:22 in the 1,600, and 2:28.55 in the 800.
