Colorado Future Stars: Meet Emry Schwalm

In this week's edition of Colorado Future Stars we'll be taking a look at recent standout sophomore performances.

On that note, Colorado, meet Emry Schwalm!

The Heritage (transfer) sophomore made a massive leap from 2022.

Schwalm came out swinging on 2023. Literally.

The Heritage sophomore torched her previous personal best, running 17:45 to win the freshmen/sophomore race at the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invitational

Not only was that a PR by over a minute-and-a-half, it would've placed third in the Varsity race. Currently the time ranks her No. 5 in All Classifications, and No. 3 in 5A.

Last spring, Schwalm ran sparingly as a freshman. She clocked personal bests of 11:51 in the 3,200.

As a freshman at Front Range Christian last fall, she finished ninth at the 2A Colorado State Cross Country Championships, and owned a season-best of 19:21 from the Liberty Bell Cross Country Invitational

Clearly, Schwalm has made The Jump!
