There may not be as many changes to the top spots as there have been on the boys side in the field events, but some of the top marks in all of these events are incredibly impressive and show how tough these top marks truly are.
In long and triple jump, Kaeli Powe of Cherokee Trail High School has the top spot in both. Her long jump of 19-2 is all the way from week one of the official track season, but no one has yet to jump further. She also jumped a wind-aided 42-1.75 mark in the triple jump. However, recently she hit 41-6.25 at the Arcadia Invitational in California, showing her consistency in the event. Zenobia Witt of Eaglecrest High School is slowly improving with each meet, where she has jumped 18-10.5 in the long jump and 39-10.5 in the triple jump, placing her 2nd overall in Colorado behind Powe.
