On the boys' side, the hunt for the state title is still open. Benjamin Adams of Mountain Vista High School is definitely the favorite though. He has one of the fastest times on Colorado this season, running 14:32 at Liberty Bell. He has also finished first in all of the other races he has toed the line for. Though he has not raced as much as others on this list, he knows how to win and will look for his first cross country state title.
Cadel Ruthven of Fort Collins High School is next on the list with a 14:41, also run at Liberty Bell. He was 3rd overall in the race and 2nd among runners from 5A schools. In a similar boat, he has not raced a ton, but he...
