Jenna Fitzsimmons owns the fastest time run in the past decade.
A year ago we saw Easton Allred drop a solo 15:10, and Jenna Fitzsimmons and Cameron McConnell run the top two times in the past decade.
We haven't seen Fitzsimmons yet this season, but we might very well see the rematch between Riley Stewart, and McConnell, as well as the entire top 9 fastest runners in the state, including Samantha Blair, Mckenna Mazeski, Taylor Whitfield, Brooke Wilson, Isalina Colsman, Joslin Blair, and Ava Escorcia.
I'll repeat - we might see the Top 9 fastest runners in the state toe the line Friday. Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, the girl's list is likely to be blown to pieces.
And the boy's side of the meet could very well likely see some big rewrites as well. Rumor on the course is that Cole Sprout will not toe the line Friday, though we could catch our first glimpse of Parker Wolfe since his big 14:47 result at Liberty Bell.
Additionally, it appears we won't see Connor Ohlson battle to defend his title here, as he's entered to compete at St. Vrain Saturday morning.
