You probably already know that most of these athletes ran in Arizona this past weekend, but only Perry has the bonus element of consideration to weigh into his decision.
Perry, if he runs, and Quinn McConnell figure as Colorado's most likely candidates to advance to finals in San Diego. Certainly, there are others who could make it with a great race as well. And, there are definitely several top-50 finisher candidates on this list.
Harrison Scudamore vies with Quinn McConnell for standing as Colorado's most motivated individual at Foot Locker Midwest. Madeleine Burns figures to be the athlete in Kenosha who traveled the greatest distance to get there.
For the last couple of years, Kayla Young was Colorado's lone female Foot Locker Nationals qualifier. Paul Roberts was the last Colorado boy to qualify in 2015.
Technically, athletes still have a very brief window of time to get entries in, so this list could expand, but chances are that any decisions to race have already been made. Travel is never especially easy on Thanksgiving weekend, and perhaps especially so on late notice. If you think you're registered and don't show on the list above, it would be a really good idea to talk to race management without further delay.
Race-time temperatures look to be in the high 30s with 15 - 20 mph winds out of the northwest. At least portions of the course are reasonably sheltered from the winds by stands of trees. Course conditions should be pleasantly dry.
Colorado Track XC will be on hand for meet coverage.
