The Evergreen junior clearly earned the right to be dubbed a Rising Star, because she dismantled a solid field, running away early for a 19:29 victory. The win was a clear 24-seconds ahead of her nearest competitor, and it marked her second victory of the season.
Summit's Grace Staberg has a big run of her own, taking the runner-up spot in 19:53, which was 10 seconds ahead of D'Evelyn's Eliana Thompson, who finished third in 20:03.
D'Evelyn took a narrow victory over the Golden Girls, tallying 88 points to the Golden's 91, while Northfield finished third with 111.
