With the 3200m being the longest race in track and field, there is no surprise that there are some big jumps already happening in March. However some of these marks are actually pretty incredible. Take a look at some biggest jumps so far. 

Allisson Christensen of Lakewood High School almost improved by 2 minutes, and it is only March! She went from 14:12 down to 12:13. Plus, she is only a sophomore, so we could see her continue to make big improvements for another couple of seasons. However, it is not too much of a surprise considering, Christensen already ran 11:43 during an open track meet in February. It will be exciting to see how much more time she will be able to take off of her 3200m time considering what is left in the season.
